About The Artist

fariba about2.jpg

Fariba Teymourian is a contemporary artist who lives in San Diego, CA with her husband and two daughters. She discovered her passion for art years ago when she picked up a paintbrush and recreated one of Modigliani's artworks. Since then she has studied art and painted over 100 pieces, primarily female portraits.

Over the years, she has been involved with a few charities such as The Omid Foundation, Mahak Charity, and the Tri-City hospital and has donated her paintings to their events and fundraisers. The charities' dedication to the health, wellness, and safety of young women is a cause Fariba stands behind and will continue to support.

“It is your duty in life to save your dream.” ― Amedeo Modigliani.

“My love of painting emerged many years ago when I was introduced to the timeless works of Modigliani. My appreciation for his modern style allowed me to find my own artistic voice. Mastering my own style and technique has allowed me to creatively express my interpretation of women. When I start a piece, I lose track of the time. I feel enveloped by happiness and put all of my power and creativity into letting my work speak for itself.”

“When I know your soul, I will paint your eyes.” ― Amedeo Modigliani.

“Oil painting is my favorite medium. I often add in mixed media, which unlocks a whole new language for me to express. My female portraits aim to exude the beauty, power, and monumental impact on the world that lies within each woman."
